Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un método para inyectar combustible líquido a un motor de combustión interna encendido por chispa, que tiene una cámara de combustión, que consiste en mezclar una cantidad dosificada de combustible líquido en una carga de gas, variar la cantidad dosificada de combustible en respuesta a la demanda de carga de motor, y suministrar la carga de combustible-gas a la cámara de combustión, a través de un orificio de apertura selectiva, dicho mátodo se caracteriza porque el orificio se configura y las condiciones de flujo a través del orificio se seleccionan de una manera que, a cantidades dosificadas de combustible por debajo de un primer valor predeterminado, la asperasión de combustible que sale hacia la cámara de combustión tiene un grado de penetración hacia la cámara de combustión menor que aquel de la asperación de combustible que sale cuando la cantidad dosificada de combustible que sale cuando la cantidad dosificada de combustible está por arriba de un segundo valor predeterminado, mayor que el primero.
