Abstract
Se describen un método y aparato para realizar una transferencia. Un cliente de subsistema de múltiples medios (IMS) de protocolo de Internet (IP) se registra con una red IMS y establece una sesión de transferencia independiente de medios (MIH) con un servidor de aplicación MIH utilizando un protocolo de inicio de sesión (SIP). El cliente IMS establece una sesión para el servicio basado en IP, (por ejemplo, voz sobre IP (VoIP)), con una transmisión semejante utilizando un SIP.
