Abstract
La separación de partículas hidrofóbicas de una mezcla de partículas en un fluido se realiza al proporcionar un lecho fluidizado (18) como un mecanismo de contacto relativamente no turbulento en una celda de flotación que incorpora una cámara de asentamiento (30) ubicada inmediatamente arriba del lecho fluidizado. Las partículas hidrofóbicas unidas a burbujas en el lecho fluidizado (18) y elevadas a la interfaz (19) con la cámara de asentamiento (30) donde partículas no hidrofóbicas (22) fluyen sobre el reborde (20) de una depuradora interna y se remueven como desechos en (21).
