Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a aislamiento de clones, confirmación de función y uso del gen SNAC2 del arroz asociado con la tolerancia de las plantas a la tensión por frío y sal; dicho gen comprende (a) una secuencia de ADN como se muestra en la posición 112-1 023 de SEQ ID NO:1 o (b) una secuencia de ADN que codifica la misma proteína codificada por (a); la presente invención también se refiere al uso de dicho gen para incrementar la tolerancia de plantas a la tensión por sequía y sal.
