Abstract
La invención se relaciona con un método para controlar el suministro de oxígeno en un tanque (2) para tratar biológicamente agua residual alternando la aireación incluyendo ciclos consecutivos, donde cada ciclo comprende una primera fase de aireación y una segunda fase anóxica para reducir los nitritos y nitratos formados durante la fase de aireación precedente, el tanque está provisto con detectores para medir nitrógeno de amoniaco (4b) y para medir nitrato (4c) y opcionalmente para medir oxígeno (4a) que esté disuelto en un licor del tanque o en el licor del mismo que sale del tanque, un método de acuerdo con el cual el suministro de oxígeno es controlado en la fase de aireación cuando la reducción de velocidad de medición del nitrato es menor que un umbral inferior y el corte de suministro de oxígeno también es controlado en la fase de aireación cuando ocurre al menos uno de los siguientes eventos de activación: la velocidad de reducción en la medición del nitrógeno amoniacal se vuelve menor que un umbral inferior; la suma total de la medición del nitrógeno amoniacal y nitrato se vuelve mayor que un umbral superior, el umbral puede depender de retrasos de tiempo y de un umbral superior para la medición de oxígeno disuelto.
