Abstract
Un sistema de comunicación tiene una multitud de nudos (1021-102n) adaptados para proporcionar una comunicación con uno o varios dispositivos, un nudo (100) central, una red (106) óptica pasiva que comprende un dispositivo (108) multiplexor/desmultiplexor adaptado para la desmultiplexión de una primera señal óptica del nudo (100) central a la pluralidad de nudos (1021-102n), y la multiplexión de segundas señales ópticas desde uno o varios de los nudos (1021-102n), siendo que cada nudo (1021-102n) tiene asignada una longitud de onda para generar su señal óptica, en donde para transmitir directamente señales de un nudo (1021-102n) a al menos uno de los otros nudos (1021-102n), el un nudo (1021-102n) se adapta para generar una señal óptica a la longitud de onda asignada a al menos uno de los otros nudos (1021-102n), siendo que la señal óptica incluye la señal que se deberá transmitir, y en donde el dispositivo (108) multiplexor/desmultiplexor de la red (106) óptica pasiva se adapta para combinar la señal óptica del un nudo (1021-102n) con la primera señal óptica.
