Abstract
Se describe un sistema de monitoreo montado a una superficie que es útil para detectar la presencia tanto de cargas ordinarias como excesivas sobre una superficie, y para proporcionar datos de tendencias en tiempo real o casi en tiempo real. El sistema incluye una disposición de transductores de fuerza dispuestos sobre la superficie exterior de un miembro estructural tal como un techo. En modalidad ilustrativa, los transductores pueden colocarse sobre una superficie interior, tal como incorporados dentro del aislamiento. Los transductores de fuerza detectan la magnitud de una fuerza de carga que actúa sobre la superficie. Un módulo de análisis de datos puede registrar evento lecturas de fuerza en un amortiguador de memoria circular, para que puedan recuperarse datos recientes en el caso de un colapso catastrófico. El DAM también puede comunicarse con un dispositivo de monitoreo que puede presentar datos de carga en tiempo real a un usuario y realizar otro análisis.
