Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a una proteína de enlace de antígeno, en particular a un anticuerpo monoclonal, capaz de enlazar específicamente con la proteína Axl así como las secuencias de aminoácidos y ácidos nucleicos que codifican dicha proteína. Desde un aspecto, la invención se refiere a una proteína de enlace de antígeno, o fragmentos de enlace de antígeno, capaces de enlazarse específicamente a Axl y, al inducir la internalización de Axl, se internaliza en la célula. La invención también comprende el uso de dicha proteína de enlace de antígeno como un producto de direccionamiento en conjugación con otros compuestos anticáncer, tales como toxinas, radio - elementos o fármacos y al uso de los mismos para el tratamiento de ciertos cánceres.
