Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un método para operar un dispositivo de terminal (10) configurado para establecer una comunicación de datos al recibir una solicitud para establecer la comunicación de datos desde una estación base (12) de una red de telecomunicaciones. De conformidad con el método, se determina un estado de uso del dispositivo de terminal (10). El estado de uso indica un uso actual de por lo menos una función o aplicación (13) del dispositivo de terminal (10). Dependiendo del estado de uso determinado, una señal de inactividad de tráfico de datos es enviada a la estación base (12). La señal de inactividad de tráfico de datos instruye a la estación base (12) para evitar enviar la solicitud para establecer la comunicación de datos al dispositivo de terminal (10) durante una cantidad predeterminada de tiempo.
