Abstract
Los sistemas y métodos de perforación pueden emplear una optimización del peso sobre broca para un modo de perforación existente y, tras cambiar a un modo de perforación diferente, determinar un peso sobre broca inicial dentro de un rango derivado de: una relación de pandeo sinusoidal, una relación de pandeo helicoidal y el valor de peso sobre broca para el modo de perforación anterior. La relación de pandeo sinusoidal es la relación de un peso sobre broca mínimo para inducir pandeo sinusoidal en un modo deslizante a un peso sobre broca mínimo para inducir pandeo sinusoidal en un modo de rotación, y la relación de pandeo helicoidal es la relación de un peso sobre broca mínimo para inducir pandeo helicoidal en el modo deslizante a un peso sobre broca mínimo para inducir pandeo helicoidal en el modo de rotación. Las relaciones son una función de la longitud de la sarta de perforación y por ende varían con la posición de la broca de perforación en el pozo de sondeo.
