Abstract
Un período de protección para conmutar entre subtramas de enlace ascendente y enlace descendente es creado por el acortamiento de una subtrama de enlace descendente, es decir, al no transmitir durante uno o más intervalos de símbolo al final de la subtrama. Un mensaje de concesión incluye señalización que indica cuándo se está transmitiendo una subtrama acortada. Un método de ejemplo se implementa en un nodo de recepción configurado para recibir datos desde un nodo de transmisión en subtramas que tienen un número predeterminado de intervalos de símbolo. En un sistema LTE, este nodo de recepción puede ser un UE, y las subtramas son subtramas de enlace descendente.
