Abstract
Se proporcionan polímeros de múltiples etapas que comprenden (i) una primera etapa que comprende un primer copolímero que tiene una primera Tg teórica, en donde el primer copolímero se deriva de un monómero blanco etilénicamente, instaurado, un monómero con contenido de fósforo, y un monómero de acetoacetoxi; y (ii) una segunda etapa que comprende un segundo polímero que tiene una segunda Tg teórica, en donde el segundo polímero deriva de uno o más monómeros duros etilénicamente instaurados. Los polímeros de múltiples etapas pueden estar en la forma de partículas multicapas que comprenden (i) una primera capa que comprende el primer copolímero; y (ii) una segunda capa que rodea al menos una porción de la primera capa que comprende el segundo polímero. Además se proporcionan composiciones acuosas que incluyen uno o más de los polímeros de múltiples etapas (o partículas multicapa) descritos en la presente, así como métodos para preparar los polímeros de múltiples etapas (o partículas multiicapa) descritos en la presente.
