Abstract

Un sistema de control de doble nivel para operar un aparato de tratamiento de aguas residuales puede incluir al menos un nivel primario de control incluyendo una medición de una variable de control de procedimiento para llegar a un punto de ajuste de oxígeno disuelto (DO) y un modo primario de parámetros de operación incluyendo un tiempo de cadena de aireación primaria y un agrupamiento de cadena de aireación primaria diseñado para lograr el punto de ajuste de DO cuando el punto de ajuste de DO cae dentro de un intervalo predeterminado de valores; y al menos un nivel secundario de control para llegar a un modo secundario de parámetros de operación incluyendo un tiempo de cadena de aireación secundaria y un agrupamiento de cadena de aireación secundaria diseñado para lograr una concentración deseada de nitrógeno total efluente cuando el punto de ajuste de DO cae ya sea a o por debajo de un valor mínimo o se eleva a o arriba de un valor máximo; la variable de control de procedimiento puede ser, por ejemplo, una concentración de efluente de NH3, NO3, alcalinidad, ORP, o una combinación de los mismos; también se divulgan un aparato de tratamiento de aguas residuales y un procedimiento para operar automáticamente un procedimiento de tratamiento de aguas residuales biológicas.
