Abstract

Se describe una formación autónoma de carros o vagones de balasto para descargar balasto a lo largo de una vía férrea y métodos para descargar balasto. La formación de carros incluye una pluralidad de vagones o carros de balasto y al menos un vagón o carro de control. El carro de control incluye un controlador, un sistema de navegación, y generadores eléctricos, hidráulicos o neumáticos que accionan los carros tolva.
