Abstract
Se proveen una terminal de satélite y un método implementado por máquina para codificar un encabezado de ráfaga de una ráfaga para transmisión sobre una ruta interna. Un componente de un grupo de componentes de terminal satelital consiste de un ASIC, un FPGA y un DSP, que genera un encabezado de ráfaga que tiene cinco bits de información codificados en el mismo. Los cinco bits de información pueden ser codificados usando un código Reed-Miller, un código de bloque (32, 5) o un código convolucional que tiene una velocidad de código de 1/5 o 1/10. Los cinco bits de información pueden representar uno o más de un tipo de modulación para una carga útil de la ráfaga, una velocidad de código para codificar la carga útil, un tipo de código y un factor de dispersión para dispersar la carga útil durante la transmisión. Una compuerta de enlace por satélite y un método implementado son también provistos para decodificar un encabezado de ráfaga de una ráfaga recibida sobre una ruta interna como se describe anteiormente.
