Abstract

Aquí se describen a detalle sistemas y métodos para determinar ubicaciones en sitio de objetos físicos utilizando dispositivos móviles dentro de una instalación; múltiples dispositivos móviles pueden escanear diferentes identificadores de diferentes objetos físicos colocados en una instalación; los dispositivos móviles pueden transmitir los identificadores a un sistema de computación distribuido; el sistema de computación distribuido puede consultar una base de datos para determinar la ubicación en sitio de los objetos físicos asociados con los identificadores; en respuesta a no poder recuperar una ubicación en sitio de un objeto físico, el sistema de computación distribuido puede determinar una trayectoria del dispositivo móvil que transmitió el identificador asociado con el objeto físico con la ubicación en sitio desconocida; el sistema de computación distribuido puede determinar la ubicación en sitio del objeto físico para el cual se desconocía la ubicación en sitio con base en la trayectoria y las ubicaciones conocidas de los otros objetos físicos.
