Abstract
La presente invención proporciona una tecnología de gestión de recursos que puede ser aplicada a un huésped, donde el huésped incluye una CPU, un punto de extremo conectado a la CPU, y un dispositivo I/O conectado al punto de extremo; un método incluye: asignar, a través de la CPU, un punto de extremo objetivo a un proceso objetivo, donde un dispositivo virtual está colocado en el punto de extremo objetivo; obtener, a través del punto de extremo objetivo, una especificación de rendimiento del proceso objetivo, y ajustar un parámetro de rendimiento del dispositivo virtual de acuerdo con la especificación de rendimiento, donde el dispositivo virtual ajustado satisface un requerimiento total de especificaciones de rendimiento de todos los procesos que utilizan el punto de extremo objetivo; y cuando el proceso objetivo necesita tener acceso a un recurso, obtener, desde el dispositivo I/O, un recurso que satisface la especificación de rendimiento del proceso objetivo, y proporcionar el recurso obtenido al proceso objetivo para uso.
