Abstract

Un sistema de electrolizador de derivación proporciona un sistema para la separación de oxígeno e hidrógeno del agua, por medio de lo cual los electrodos están situados, de manera respectiva, en el primer y el segundo alojamientos separados por al menos una membrana soportada por al menos un portador de membrana. Al menos una línea de derivación conecta el primer y el segundo alojamientos, de modo que durante la operación, el hidrógeno pueda pasar a través de la línea de derivación hacia el lado de oxígeno y después regresa a través de la membrana para ayudar a igualar la presión a través de la membrana durante la operación.
