Abstract
Un sistema de regulador de flujo incluye un regulador de flujo colocado dentro de una trayectoria de flujo de fluido para mantener flujo de fluido a través del mismo a una velocidad de flujo deseada. El regulador de flujo incluye una arandela de flujo que tiene un orificio a través del mismo y un cuerpo de regulador que recibe la arandela de flujo. A presiones de fluido entre una primera presión de fluido y una segunda presión de fluido, la arandela de flujo se deforma por rotación para disminuir o aumentar el tamaño del orificio, manteniendo con ello la velocidad de flujo deseada. Cuando la presión de fluido es mayor que o igual a la segunda presión de fluido, la arandela de flujo hace contacto con una porción del cuerpo de regulador para prevenir deformación por rotación adicional de la arandela de flujo. Además, la arandela de flujo se comprime o expande radialmente para aumentar o disminuir el tamaño del orificio, manteniendo con ello la velocidad de flujo deseada.
