Abstract

Proceso para funcionalizar un polímero tratando dicho polímero a una temperatura en el rango de 80-250°C con una monoazida de la fórmula en donde m es 0 o 1, n es 0 o 1, n + m = 1 o 2, X es un grupo hidrocarburo lineal o ramificado, alifático o aromático con 1-12 átomos de carbono, conteniendo opcionalmente heteroátomos, Rb se selecciona del grupo que consiste en hidrógeno, grupos alquilo lineales y ramificados con 1-6 átomos de carbono opcionalmente sustituidos con grupos funcionales que contienen O, S, P, Si, o N, grupos alcoxi con 1-6 átomos de carbono y halógenos, y cada Ra se selecciona individualmente de hidrógeno y grupos alquilo lineales o ramificados con 1-6 átomos de carbono, o puede formar una estructura de anillo saturado o insaturado, alifático o aromático con al menos otro Ra.
