Abstract

Un fluido de transferencia de calor de muy baja agua (VLW), que tiene un punto de ebullición atmosférico de aproximadamente 148°C (aproximadamente 300°F) y un límite de operación de baja temperatura (LTOL) de -40°C o por debajo, comprendido de uno o más alcoholes polihídricos, uno o más inhibidores de corrosión y entre 5% y 10% de agua. El fluido de transferencia de calor retiene muchas de las características de un fluido de transferencia de calor no acuoso, mientras que proporciona una viscosidad substancialmente menor.
