Abstract
Un fluido de transferencia de calor de muy baja agua (VLW), que tiene un punto de ebullición atmosférico de aproximadamente 148°C (aproximadamente 300°F) y un límite de operación de baja temperatura (LTOL) de -40°C o por debajo, comprendido de uno o más alcoholes polihídricos, uno o más inhibidores de corrosión y entre 5% y 10% de agua. El fluido de transferencia de calor retiene muchas de las características de un fluido de transferencia de calor no acuoso, mientras que proporciona una viscosidad substancialmente menor. El fluido de transferencia de calor es adecuado para usarse en motores de combustión interna como un refrigerante de motor y en otras aplicaciones de transferencia de calor.
