Abstract
La presente invención provee un sujetador metálico que comprende una porción roscada, en donde al menos parte de la porción roscada se recubre con una composición; la composición es dura, aprobada por la FDA y esencialmente consiste en (a) una cera de parafina con una temperatura de fusión en el intervalo de 50 a 70°C (b) 1 a 5 partes en peso (pbw) de una resina por pbw de cera de parafina, (c) 0.1 a 0.25 pbw de grafito por pbw de cera de parafina, y (d) 0.05 a 0.30 pbw de un sílice aprobado por la FDA por pbw de cera de parafina; más aún, la presente invención provee un procedimiento para recubrir un sujetador metálico que comprende una porción roscada, que comprende los siguientes pasos: (i) proveer una composición como se definió anteriormente, (ii) mantener el sujetador o llevarlo a una temperatura en el intervalo de 30 a 70°C, (iii) aplicar la composición a una temperatura en el intervalo de 100 a 170°C, (iv) opcionalmente, retirar el exceso de la composición, (v) enfriar el sujetador a menos de 100°C, (vi) acabar el sujetador en un baño de agua, y (vii) secar el sujetador; también se provee un procedimiento para recubrir con polvo el sujetador metálico.
