Abstract
Algunas modalidades incluyen un método llevado a cabo por un nodo de red para indicar un esquema de modulación y codificación para un dispositivo inalámbrico que opere en un modo de cobertura mejorada, en donde el dispositivo inalámbrico opera con un primer esquema de modulación y codificación usando repeticiones de canal compartido de enlace descendente físico y con un segundo esquema de modulación y codificación sin usar repeticiones de canal compartido de enlace descendente físico, y en donde el segundo esquema de modulación y codificación es un orden de modulación y codificación más alto que el primer esquema de modulación y codificación, el método comprende configurar, cuando no se usen repeticiones de canal compartido de enlace descendente físico, la información de control de enlace descendente para indicar uno o más parámetros relacionados con el segundo esquema de modulación y codificación, la indicación comprende al menos el campo de esquema de modulación y codificación del primer esquema de modulación y codificación y uno o más bits de campo de información de control de enlace descendente que se usan en relación con repeticiones cuando se usan repeticiones de un canal compartido físico de enlace descendente.
