Abstract

Un artículo absorbente que tiene un sistema de manejo de fluidos incluye un revestimiento orientado hacia el cuerpo permeable a los fluidos; un recubrimiento exterior impermeable a los fluidos; un núcleo absorbente dispuesto entre el revestimiento y el recubrimiento exterior, en donde el núcleo absorbente incluye material superabsorbente y, opcionalmente, pulpa de pelusa; una capa de absorción no tejida sintética dispuesta adyacente al revestimiento entre el núcleo absorbente y el revestimiento; y una capa de dispersión dispuesta entre la capa de absorción y el núcleo absorbente, en donde la capa de dispersión incluye un material no tejido de papel tisú celulósico, tendido en húmedo con patrón tridimensional. La capa de dispersión incluye además las superficies opuestas de la capa de dispersión, cada una que tiene una superficie texturizada, en donde cada superficie incluye un plano promedio del material, una pluralidad de crestas que se extienden en una dirección z desde el plano promedio del material, y una pluralidad de ranuras que alternan con la pluralidad de crestas, en donde la profundidad de las ranuras se extiende en la dirección z opuesta desde el plano promedio del material.
