Abstract

La presente invención pertenece al campo de los colectores de energía solar. En particular, la invención está dirigida a colectores de energía solar que funcionan concentrando la radiación solar sobre un absorbedor utilizando un reflector. La invención puede llevarse a la práctica en forma de una matriz de reflectores de radiación solar plana unitaria que tiene una pluralidad de superficies reflectantes orientadas hacia arriba, cada una de las cuales se configura para reflejar la radiación solar incidente, en donde cada superficie reflectante orientada hacia arriba se forma recubriendo un sustrato con un material de recubrimiento. El material de recubrimiento puede ser un recubrimiento metálico de grosor sustancialmente uniforme formado por un método de deposición de metal tal como un método de deposición de vapor o un método de pulverización térmica.
