Abstract
Una bomba de gerotor que incluye un engranaje interno montado en un primer eje, un engranaje externo montado en un segundo eje y que se acopla internamente con el engranaje interno de manera desplazada, un motor eléctrico que incluye un rotor y un estator que tiene un espacio radial entre ellos en dirección radial. La bomba también incluye un eje acoplado de manera fija al engranaje externo para facilitar el mantenimiento del espacio radial. El eje está acoplado de forma giratoria para girar alrededor del segundo eje. El eje ayuda a mantener un espacio radial constante durante la operación de la bomba de gerotor. El engranaje interno puede estar acoplado a un eje de transmisión para accionar los engranajes. La bomba de gerotor puede accionarse mediante un controlador eléctrico o mecánico. También se puede colocar una placa de presión adyacente a los engranajes del gerotor y dentro de la carcasa. El eje y la placa de presión ayudan a asegurar las piezas de la bomba tanto axial como radialmente.
