Abstract
Se describe un aparato de almacenamiento de energía adecuado para montarse en una placa de circuitos impresa mediante el uso de un proceso de reflujo con soldadura; en algunas modalidades, el aparato incluye: una estructura de alojamiento sellada (p. ej., una estructura inferior con una tapa unida a ella) que incluye un contacto interno positivo y un contacto interno negativo (p. ej., almohadillas de contacto metálicas) dispuestos dentro de la estructura y cada uno respectivamente en comunicación eléctrica con un contacto externo positivo y un contacto externo negativo; cada uno de los contactos externos proporciona comunicación eléctrica con el exterior de la estructura y puede disponerse en una superficie externa de la estructura; una celda de almacenamiento de energía de un condensador de dos capas eléctrico (EDLC) (al que también se hace referencia en la presente como "ultracondensador" o "supercondensador") se dispone dentro de una cavidad en la estructura que incluye una pila de capas de electrodos alternadas y capas de separadores de aislamiento eléctrico; un electrolito se dispone dentro de la cavidad y humedece las capas de electrodos; un cable positivo establece una conexión eléctrica entre un primer grupo de una o más de las capas de electrodos y el contacto interno positivo; y un cable negativo establece una conexión eléctrica entre un segundo grupo de una o más de las capas de electrodos y el contacto interno negativo.
