Abstract
De acuerdo con una modalidad, se proporciona un método para usarse en un dispositivo inalámbrico. El método comprende activarse de un modo de recepción discontinua (DRX) en una célula. El método comprende además determinar si la célula es la misma que una célula anterior del dispositivo inalámbrico. En respuesta a la determinación de que la célula no sea la misma que la célula anterior, el método comprende además determinar si el dispositivo inalámbrico perdió una oportunidad de señal de activación en la célula. El método comprende además monitorear cada una de las ocasiones de paginación asociadas con la oportunidad de señal de activación si la célula no es la misma que la célula anterior y se perdió la oportunidad de señal de activación.
