Abstract

Aquí se muestra un método de determinación no invasiva automatizada de la fertilidad del huevo (14) de un ave, que comprende los siguientes pasos: transportar una pluralidad de huevos (14) de aves secuencialmente o en paralelo en un aparato de RMN (18),someter los huevos (14) de ave a una medición de RMN, tal como generar una imagen de RMN tridimensional de al menos una parte de cada uno de dichos huevos (14), teniendo dicha imagen de RMN tridimensional una resolución espacial en al menos una dimensión de 1.0 mm o menos, preferiblemente de 0.50 10 mm o menos, en donde dicha parte del huevo (14) incluye el disco germinal del huevo (14) respectivo determinar una predicción de la fertilidad de acuerdo con al menos uno de los siguientes dos procedimientos: (i) derivar al menos una característica de cada una de dichas imágenes 3-D de RMN, y emplear dicha al menos una característica en un clasificador basado en características para 15 determinar una predicción de la fertilidad, y (ii) usar un algoritmo de aprendizaje profundo, y en particular un algoritmo de aprendizaje profundo basado en redes neuronales convolucionales, redes adversas generativas, redes neuronales recurrentes o redes de memoria a corto y largo plazo.
