Abstract
Un dispositivo de reemplazo de válvula cardiaca comprende un stent que tiene un primer extremo, un segundo extremo, una superficie externa y una superficie interna, la superficie interna define un lumen; y una válvula dispuesta dentro del lumen del stent, la válvula formada de una sola lámina de tejido, la válvula tiene una superficie externa, una superficie interna y un grosor entre la superficie externa y la superficie interna, la válvula comprende por lo menos tres valvas, en donde la válvula está fijada al stent con mínimas suturas. Las valvas están formadas con una superficie curvilínea.
