Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a una composición de recubrimiento acuosa que comprende (a) una resina formadora de película seleccionada de poliésteres elaborados a partir de monómeros que comprenden un polieterpoliol y un ácido policarboxílico, el poliéster que porta grupos funcionales y que tiene una Tg de menos de -10 ºC medida de acuerdo con la ASTM D3418- 15 (temperatura del punto medio, a una tasa de calentamiento de 20 °C/min); (b) un modificador de la reología seleccionado entre modificadores de la reología inorgánicos y resinosos y sus combinaciones; (c) uno o más pigmentos que imparten color o pigmentos de efecto o sus combinaciones; y (d) uno o más agentes de reticulación que reaccionan con los grupos funcionales de la resina formadora de película de acuerdo con a), en donde la composición de recubrimiento exhibe una viscosidad a bajo cizallamiento de 0.5 a 40 Pas a 0.1 s-1 a 25 °C medido de acuerdo con la ASTM 22196-15 Método B Husillo núm. X, un método para elaborar dicha composición de recubrimiento, un método para recubrir un sustrato automotriz mediante el uso de dicha composición de recubrimiento y un sustrato recubierto que comprende una capa de recubrimiento base depositada desde dicha composición de recubrimiento.
