Abstract
Un método de desemulsionar petróleo crudo, el método comprende la etapa de hacer reaccionar una cantidad de petróleo crudo con un desemulsionante de poliéster, en donde el desemulsionante se usa en cantidades de 0.0001 % a 5 % (1- 50,000 ppm), preferiblemente de 0.0005 % a 2 % (5 - 20,000 ppm), más preferiblemente de 0.0008 % a 1 % (8 - 10,000 ppm) y lo más preferiblemente de 0.001 al 0.1 % en peso del polímero (10 - 1,000 ppm) en relación con la fracción de aceite de la emulsión usada.
