Abstract

Se describe un polímero de polisiloxano-uretano terminalmente funcionalizado que comprende: segmentos de polisiloxano que comprenden de 50 a 98% en peso con base en el peso total del polímero; segmentos de uretano que comprenden de 2 a 50% en peso con base en el peso total del polímero; y grupos funcionales terminales seleccionados de grupos funcionales de (met)acrilato, grupos funcionales alcoxisililo y mezclas de los mismos. El polímero de polisiloxano-uretano terminalmente funcionalizado se usa en formulaciones de adhesivo líquidas ópticamente transparentes en las que puede proveer propiedades duales de curado por luz y curado por humedad. En algunas modalidades, los productos de reacción curados de la composición de adhesivo líquida ópticamente transparente preparada con el polímero de polisiloxano-uretano terminalmente funcionalizado presentan una turbidez baja de 2% o menos y valores de b* de amarilleo baja de 2 o menos como se preparó y después de la prueba de envejecimiento. En algunas modalidades, los productos de reacción curados de la composición de adhesivo líquida ópticamente transparente preparada con el polímero de polisiloxano-uretano terminalmente funcionalizado presentan una contracción mínima y un módulo de almacenamiento de compresión estable de -40 a 100ºC.
