Abstract

Se describe un método para prevenir o eliminar una incrustación soluble en agua (7) localizada corriente abajo de un reactor de deshidrogenación oxidativa (DHO) (3). El método emplea la introducción de agua corriente arriba de las ubicaciones de la incrustación, ya sea de forma continua o intermitente, la cual actúa para solubilizar y desprender el material de la incrustación. El método tiene la ventaja de que se puede aplicar para su uso mientras un proceso de DHO está en curso, evitando la necesidad de una parada costosa.
