Abstract
En un método y aparato para acondicionar aire para un recinto, una primera corriente de aire ambiente se enfría mediante el serpentín cilíndrico del. enfriador de un sistema de enfriamiento de refrigerante para reducir su contenido de temperatura y humedad. El aire así enfriado y deshumidificado se hace pasar a través de un segmento de una rueda desecante giratoria para reducir el contenido de humedad y aumentar la temperatura y luego se suministra al recinto. La rueda desecante se regenera mediante el uso de una segunda corriente de aire ambiente que primero se calienta con la bobina del condensador del sistema refrigerante y luego pasa a través del segmento de regeneración de la rueda desecante. Se proporciona una cámara impelente de derivación en el aparato que permite selectivamente que una tercera corriente de aire ambiente se enfríe en la cámara impelente independiente de la bobina del evaporador y la rueda desecante en la primera cámara. Esa corriente de aire se suministra con el aire tratado en la primera cámara impelente al recinto.
