Abstract

La invención se refiere a una composición de polímero semiconductor que comprende un componente polimérico, un componente conductor y un agente reticulante, en donde el componente polimérico comprende un polietileno polar y el agente de reticulación comprende un peróxido mono o bifuncional alifático o, alternativamente, un peróxido monofuncional que contiene un grupo aromático, y el agente de reticulación está presente en una cantidad que es Z % en peso, basado en la cantidad total (100 % en peso) de la composición de polímero, y Z1 = Z = Z2, en donde Z1 es 0.01 y Z2 es 5.0, un artículo que es, por ejemplo, un cable, por ejemplo, un cable de alimentación, y procesos para producir una composición de polímero semiconductor y un artículo; útil en diferentes aplicaciones finales, tales como aplicaciones de alambre y cable (WyC).
