Abstract

Se da a conocer un aparato de producción de hierro briqueteado en caliente (HBI). El aparato incluye una unidad alimentadora, una unidad dispensadora cuantitativa, una unidad formadora de briquetas calientes y un enfriador cilíndrico. La unidad alimentadora enfría y transporta hierro de reducción directa (DRI). La unidad dispensadora cuantitativa pulveriza el DRI y descarga una cantidad fija de DRI en cada ocasión. La unidad formadora de briquetas calientes forma briquetas de hierro calientes al prensar en caliente el DRI descargado de la unidad dispensadora cuantitativa. La unidad enfriadora disminuye el calor de las briquetas de hierro calientes. La unidad enfriadora incluye un cuerpo cilíndrico con una entrada y una salida, un tornillo de transporte o cuchilla para transportar las briquetas de hierro calientes, y una boquilla atomizadora de agua de enfriamiento. El tornillo de transporte y la boquilla atomizadora de agua de enfriamiento están dispuestos dentro del cuerpo cilíndrico. Las briquetas de hierro calientes se introducen en la unidad enfriadora a través de la entrada y se descargan de la unidad enfriadora a través de la salida.
