Abstract
Se divulga un cable blindado de fibra óptica contra incendios que comprende: un núcleo que comprende un elemento de reforzamiento central, y una pluralidad de tubos amortiguadores colocados alrededor de dicho elemento de reforzamiento central, cada tubo amortiguador contiene una pluralidad de fibras ópticas; una primera capa de mica dispuesta alrededor del núcleo; una cubierta interna que rodea la primera capa de mica; una protección de alambre de metal que rodea la cubierta interna; y una cubierta externa que rodea y está en contacto directo con la protección de alambre de metal, en donde una segunda capa de mica rodea la cubierta interna mientras que la protección de alambre de metal rodea la segunda capa de mica.
