Abstract
Un dispositivo microfluídico con un circuito microfluídico que incluye un conjunto de microcámaras acopladas fluidamente. Cada microcámara incluye una cámara de reacción y una cámara de ventilación asociada. El circuito microfluídico se puede disponer de modo que una muestra de fluido introducida en el dispositivo microfluídico fluya al interior de la cámara de reacción y aire u otro gas presente en la cámara de reacción se evacúe de la microcámara a través de la cámara de ventilación. La microcámara se puede configurar para permitir solamente el flujo de aire al interior de la cámara de ventilación desde la cámara de reacción hasta que el aire haya sido desplazado de la cámara de reacción por la muestra de fluido y/o se haya recibido un volumen predefinido de la muestra de fluido en la cámara de reacción. La microcámara se puede configurar además para liberar la muestra de fluido para que fluya posteriormente de la cámara de reacción al interior de la cámara de ventilación.
