Abstract

Una carcasa de batería para el chasis de vehículo, que tiene un elemento de base con características de superficie elevadas en la superficie superior que delimitan celdas individuales, cada celda configurada para recibir por lo menos una batería; un elemento de cubierta que tiene una pluralidad de características de superficie dependientes en la superficie inferior, que son alineadas con las características de superficie del elemento de base. También se incluye una estructura de soporte de reticulado que tiene una pluralidad de elementos de soporte que se extienden axial y transversalmente, en donde la estructura de soporte de reticulado es configurada para ser dispuesta por lo menos parcialmente dentro del canal del elemento de cubierta y montada al chasis del vehículo. El elemento de soporte de reticulado provee mayor rigidez y una trayectoria de distribución de carga para fuerzas aplicadas externamente (por ejemplo, eventos de choque) para impedir o inhibir la ruptura o perforación de la carcasa.
