Abstract
Una máquina automatizada para formar estructuras de enrollamiento sin el uso de un mandril, usando un cabezal accionado y un contrapunto accionado. La máquina enrolladora permite una orientación selectiva y una superposición selectiva del filamento conforme se enrolla en los anillos de pasadores. La estructura de enrollamiento puede recibir formas en un centro hueco y el compuesto colocado en un molde hembra. De forma alternativa, la estructura de enrollamiento puede formarse en una lámina la cual puede orientarse y alinearse en una forma para lograr propiedades mecánicas deseadas.
