Abstract
Se describen composiciones y métodos para el control de plagas de plantas. En particular, se proporcionan proteínas insecticidas novedosas que tienen toxicidad contra plagas de insectos coleópteros y/o lepidópteros. También se proporcionan moléculas de ácido nucleico que codifican las novedosas proteínas insecticidas. También se describen métodos de preparación de las proteínas insecticidas y métodos de uso de las proteínas insecticidas y ácidos nucleicos que codifican las proteínas insecticidas de la invención, por ejemplo, en plantas transgénicas para conferir protección contra el daño de insectos.
