Abstract

Se describe un sistema, método e interfaz mejorados para pruebas rápidas automatizadas de susceptibilidad antimicrobiana (AST) que incluye, en un aspecto, una estación de población de portadores que comprende una estación de trabajo que tiene una interfaz gráfica de usuario (GUI). La GUI acepta información de un técnico de laboratorio, incluida información relacionada con el alcance de pruebas que se realizarán en una muestra que contenga microorganismos. La GUI controla la asignación inteligente de muestras que contienen microorganismos a paneles de prueba de una manera que maximiza la utilización del portador de prueba agrupando muestras de alcances de prueba similares y probando ventajosamente esas muestras utilizando un panel de prueba multiplexado.
