Abstract

La presente descripción se refiere a un método para transferir uno o más miembros de material no tejido recortados, el(los) miembros de material no tejido siendo miembro(s) de material no tejido perforado Cardado por Aguja, Hidroentrelazado y/o Cardado por Unión mediante Aire Pasante, para uso en un artículo absorbente, desde una estación de corte dicho método comprende la etapa de: a) alimentar una trama continua de un material no tejido (1), el material no tejido siendo un material no tejido perforado Cardado por Aguja, Hidroentrelazado y/o Cardado por Unión mediante Aire Pasante, en una dirección de máquina (MD) hacia una estación de corte (2) que comprende un cilindro cortador giratorio (4) y un cilindro de yunque (5); b) pasar la trama continua de material no tejido (1) en un doblez (3) formado entre el cilindro cortador giratorio (4) y el cilindro de yunque (5), el cilindro cortador giratorio (4) teniendo una o más cuchillas (6a, 6b) que sobresalen de la superficie circunferencial externa, la una o más cuchillas (6a, 6b) teniendo cada una un borde de corte (7a, 7b, 7c) con una primer forma de contorno (S1), como se observa en una dirección circunferencial (C) del cilindro cortador giratorio (4); c) cortar la trama continua de material no tejido (1) formando de ese modo uno o más miembros de material no tejido recortados (1a, 1b, 1c) teniendo cada uno una segunda forma de contorno (S2) correspondiente a la primer forma de contorno (S1) del borde de corte respectivo (7a, 7b, 7c) de la una o más cuchillas (6a, 6b); y, d) transferir el uno o más miembros de material no tejido recortados (1a, 1b, 1c) desde la estación de corte (2) hacia un cilindro de transferencia al vacío (7) que tiene una superficie circunferencial externa (7a), la superficie circunferencial externa (7a) del cilindro de transferencia al vacío (7) comprendiendo una pluralidad de puertos al vacío (8) colocados en un estampado de puerto al vacío (9), el estampado de puerto al vacío (9) comprendiendo una o más unidades de estampado de puerto al vacío (10a, 10b, 10c) teniendo cada una, una tercera forma de contorno (S3), la una o más unidades de estampado de puerto al vacío (10a, 10b, 10c) ajustándose dentro de la segunda forma de contorno (S2) del uno o más miembros de material no tejido recortados (1a, 1b, 1c).
