Abstract
Un método y un decodificador para la decodificación de audio, en donde una señal primaria codificada se decodifica para formar una señal primaria decodificada, seguida de un posfiltrado de la señal primaria decodificada para formar una señal posfiltrada, en donde una señal de salida del decodificador es una de la señal primaria decodificada y la señal posfiltrada. Se obtiene una estimación de energía de al menos una parte de un espectro de frecuencia de la señal primaria que está siendo reconstruida por el decodificador y un análisis de las discontinuidades en el dominio de tiempo causadas por el posfiltrado de la señal primaria decodificada. A partir de la estimación de energía y el análisis de discontinuidades obtenido se genera una variable de decisión. La variable de decisión se compara con un umbral y la señal de salida se establece para que sea la señal primaria decodificada o la señal posfiltrada en función de la comparación de la variable de decisión con el umbral.
