Abstract

Currently, highly polluting and unsustainable polyurethane synthetic leathers, both polyester textiles and petroleum derivatives, are used, thus the large fashion industries opt for sustainable and ecological alternatives, such as leather based on organic raw materials and agro-industrial waste for satisfying needs and offering processes profitable and ecological through diode laser, but more than anything with the latest technology and energy efficiency thanks to automation without human intervention in a continuous supply. The process used of dehydration, grinding, and mixing of these bio-resins made with organic waste is reused in their disposal for the production of coatings, footwear, leather goods, clothing, upholstery for the automotive sector, and furniture, backpacks, book covers, and as a substitute of covers for different products that require external protection, becoming a biodegradable ecological skin. Therefore, the present invention is a novelty by presenting a process and formula for the manufacture of a product based on organic waste generated by the food industry with applications in the production of ecological and sustainable flexible leather-type coverings for multiple applications, such as upholstery and covers for different objects that occupy a cover and finish. The formulation, process, and product have multiple applications, specifically, those materials from organic waste materials, which have the advantage of reducing the use of plastic covers that pollute nature and the environment because they are ecological, recyclable, and biodegradable.
