Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un procedimiento para la purificación de un líquido conteniendo azúcar, caracterizado porque consiste en hacer pasar la solución a través de una masa ó lecho de resina de intercambio iónico de cloruro de vinilbencilo débilmente básica a temperatura comprendida entre 0°C y 80°C, la cual ha sido convertida a la forma bicarbonato para lograr la transformación de cualquier sal de ácido altamente ionizado en el bicarbonato correspondiente, haciendo pasar el efluente del lecho de resina de intercambio aniónico débilmente básica a través de una resina de cloruro de vinilbencilo de intercambio catiónico ácida en la forma hidrógeno a una temperatura comprendida entre 0°C y 80°C para remover el catión y para liberar y expulsar las impurezas.
