Abstract
La invención se refiere a una cámara de flotado de vidrio en un baño de metal fundido que comprende una pared corriente arriba (3), una pared corriente abajo (4) y dos paredes laterales (1,2), rodillos (8) para conducir el vidrio según una dirección de paso de corriente arriba a corriente abajo, una pared lateral que comprende un soporte (21,22) que procura una disminución del ancho de la cámara en la dirección de paso de vidrio, dicho soporte (21,22) comenzando en un primer punto (25,25') y terminando en un segundo punto (26,26') de la pared lateral, dichos puntos estando en contacto con la superficie del baño de metal, el plano vertical (23) pasando por estos dos puntos (25,26) formando con el plano vertical (24) paralelo a la dirección de paso de vidrio y pasando por el primer punto (25), un ángulo dentro de la cámara superior a 1500. Las características geométricas del soporte (21,22) reducen el movimiento recíproco lateral de la cinta saliendo de la cámara.
