Abstract
La invención se refiere a un método para degradar compuestos orgánicos tóxicos contenidos en aguas residuales y/o efluentes gaseosos, en los que las aguas residuales o efluentes gaseosos (2) contaminados con compuestos orgánicos tóxicos se introduce(n) primeramente en un baño (3) de solución/suspensión acuosa, básica, alcalina o de alcalinotérrea, para desestabilizar los compuestos orgánicos tóxicos, y posteriormente el baño (3) de solución/suspensión acuosa que contiene los compuestos orgánicos tóxicos desestabilizados se introduce en una masa capilar (4) colocada sobre el mismo, formada a partir de una mezcla de materiales de madera reprocesados y turba mezclada con bentonita, zeolita y/o cal con una granulometría <200 µm.
