Abstract
Se proporcionan métodos y sistemas para remover vapor condensado de un intercambiador de un motor de combustión interna turbocomprimido. El uso de válvulas para drenar vapor condensado puede crear una conexión fluídica directa entre el aire comprimido del intercambiador y el aire ambiente exterior, permitiendo el escape tanto del vapor condensado como del aire comprimido debido al diseño de la válvula o a la falla de los dispositivos de accionamiento de la válvula. Para proporcionar un método simple y confiable para remover vapor condensado sin eliminar aire comprimido, se usa una válvula hueca para desplazar el vapor condensado desde el intercambiador hacia el ambiente exterior.
